Copyrights are here! We have introduced the ability for an Institution-wide copyright policy to be created, as well as the ability for a copyright to be applied to individual pieces of media.

Institutions are no longer limited to one caption configuration! Unlimited configurations are now possible across one or more caption providers. These new caption configurations can also be set up for Organizations, Departments, and Sections so that published content is automatically sent out for captioning.

Instructors creating Multiple Choice, Multiple Select, or True / False questions in EchoPoll web or EchoPoll+ will be given an additional choice of “0, 1, 2” for their answer option labels. If they select this option, the first answer option will automatically be labeled as "0."

Now that we have a base feature for whether or not content has a copyright, we will be adding the ability for Institutions to configure specific licenses available for use. Media owners and admins will then be able to set which licenses apply to individual media.

Instructors will have additional options when creating a Hotspot Question. Choose the learner input icon, set different shapes for hotspot areas, and set alternate text to improve accessibility for learners.

When creating a Poll Deck, instructors will have the option to use Echo.ai Assist to add interactive slides. Echo.ai Assist allows instructors to automatically generate multiple choice, multiple select, short answer, and true / false questions from their PowerPoint presentation. Echo.ai Assist uses instructor's content only - never additional online content - and never exposes instructor's content to others.

When preparing a test to be printed, instructors will have the ability to choose the style and size of the answer space for essay, short answer, and numeric questions. Instructors can choose between writing style, where the learner has lines to write in their response, or drawing style, where the learner has a blank box to draw or diagram their response. Instructors can also choose between five sizes for the answer area, from extra small to extra large.
